I'm not sure I'd consider Christians pushing back a Persian/islamic invasion some sort of "proof" that Christians are violent but whatever.

We knew where this would lead. Now comes the denial.

What about the Spanish inquisition.

The trouble with bible bashers is that they only seem to know what suits them.

I am still waiting on an answer...Do you guys read anything you post?

Being Catholic does not make you Christian... Good try though.
The Tribunal of the Holy Office of the Inquisition (Spanish: Tribunal del Santo Oficio de la Inquisición), commonly known as the Spanish Inquisition (Inquisición española), was established in 1478 by Catholic Monarchs Ferdinand II of Aragon and Isabella I of Castile. It was intended to maintain Catholic orthodoxy in their kingdoms and to replace the Medieval Inquisition, which was under Papal control. It became the most substantive of the three different manifestations of the wider Catholic Inquisition along with the Roman Inquisition and Portuguese Inquisition. The "Spanish Inquisition" may be defined broadly, operating "in Spain and in all Spanish colonies and territories, which included the Canary Islands, the Spanish Netherlands, the Kingdom of Naples, and all Spanish possessions in North, Central, and South America."

The Inquisition was originally intended primarily to identify heretics among those who converted from Judaism and Islam to Catholicism. The regulation of the faith of newly converted Catholics was intensified after the royal decrees issued in 1492 and 1502 ordering Jews and Muslims to convert to Catholicism or leave Spain.[1] The Inquisition was not definitively abolished until 1834, during the reign of Isabella II, after a period of declining influence in the preceding century.

If you actually knew what a definition was and knew how the scripture defines a Christian you might have a case.
Since you can't give me a name then maybe you can show me one place that Jesus taught force or violence or one place that He did not rebuke His disciple when they suggested doing so.

Or maybe a historical piece of evidence where they fought to keep from being killed when they were killed?

Yea but I gave you that name BEFORE you redefined an entire religion to suit your argument. Should still count right?

“But that's old news.”

And yet no-one has been called to account for this criminality...

reminds me of a song I listened to in the 90's "Killing in the name of"

Applies to all religions including the cult you belong to. So try not to be so snowflake about it. [-X
