Eliminate all tax-supported subsidies, make tax-funded propaganda illegal, and prevent government from banning internal-combustion engines. That would decimate electric-vehicle sales.
This is exactly what needs to be done!

But I doubt if it would decimate the electric sales.

The fossil fuel powers would be in such an uproar about losing their subsidies.
(about 10 times what 'green' gets)

First you should check to see if your state lives off welfare from California.

When people read and start to believe crazy shit like this from these RAGS sites and publications, there "dumbness is showing"! Pick up a good engine technical publication or site and make your brain smarter instead of making your ass heavier.

To a cold calculating mind electric vehicles make sense.....I was out riding my Ducati on the back roads yesterday...The sound and feel of the 90 degree twin going up and down through the gears. The staccato beat of the exhaust scattering wildlife..Like the difference between a real woman and a [Blank Post] doll....
Naked frame LSR bikes, dressed in animal hides clinging to machines propelled by fire...

And only electric powered air planes with propellers will be allowed to fly to California, I like it. They will have a hard time explaining those smog trails from planes over Ca then. So where is Ca going to find all that electric power? They better quick start thinking out of the box for it, because they aren't going to be generating it. Oh and those electric airplanes can not have Lithium Ion batterys in them.

Exactly, an electric car has no soul.

I don't get it??

Doesn't an oil refinery use about 50 percent of the oil out of the ground to make the products they sell so why not make King Coal use part of it's, "dug outta the ground coal", to clean their act up.

Use, "Thermal depolymerization", to clean coal up.

Or dissolve the coal and run the liquid through a refinery!

Hell, we scrapped how many obsolete blast furnaces that might have been turned into coal gasifiers!

I just wish they would hurry up and do it and quit talking about it. But they need to rid all of them not just new ones, they need to set an example so we all can see how good it works out when they eliminate ALL ICE. I can't wait to see the new motorized prop planes that will be flying to that state.

Ford seems to be doing more than just talking about it...
...Ford also says it will cut $4 billion in engineering costs through 2022 by making fewer prototypes and reducing product-development time.

It plans to cut one-third of its engine development costs and redeploy them to electric and hybrid vehicles. Ford plans to introduce 13 new electrics and hybrids over the next five years, including a small electric SUV coming in 2020.

Most of the big blue states are net federal dollar givers, including CA

I wish Ca would enact a total ban this coming Jan 1st. Wow, imagine you could not drive a gas powered anything to that state after that date. So cool.
That economy would go in the dumpster quick. The multimillion dollar homes would go for pennys on the dollar. A mass exodus would be the norm.

I was at the state park the other day kayaking with the kids. It's a no gas engines man made lake....saolboats, kayaks, a few electric trolling motors. There's a sign with the rules at the boat launch.....but looking out at the calm water I realized there isn't a speed limit......i wonder how many batteries I'd need to go electric boat water skiing?
