I'd add that for those in a flood plane flood insurance should pay once.....and if you are dumb enough to rebuild instead of moving then it's on you.
No they should not even pay once. If you build or buy in a flood plain (the mortgage company knows where they are) you should buy insurance at outrageously high premiums (the insurance company knows the risks), or suffer the consequences.
Or perhaps you would like low cost coverage for "pre-existing conditions?"
But we need flood plane maps, Rump just ordered them discontined...WTF to that.
Local governments know where their flood plains are located and don't need federal maps. Why should mountain plain states pay for maps of cities that were built underwater?
