To clarify...... I am not interested in the racial aspect of this incident beyond noting that it was introduced by those in the media, in Congress and elsewhere who have misrepresented the facts of this case to the public in an apparent attempt to incite widespread racially based violence and civil unrest across our nation.

Like Mr. Zimmerman, I could care less about a person's ethnicity. In my view, this case needs to be argued and decided strictly on the basis of the facts.

Personally, having reviewed the police report and witness statements and having heard the details of the events as related by Mr. Zimmerman's father...... I believe Mr. Zimmerman was in fact, physically attacked by Trayvon Martin and having been injured and with none of the witnesses interceding to pull Martin off him...... Acted in self-defence.

My only interest in this tragic affair is that justice will be done and that the 'special prosecutor' will not be successful in railroading an innocent man. And that those who are attempting to incite racially based violence and civil unrest across our nation will be unsuccessful in their evil endeavour as well.
