Robertshaw 359-180 thermostats

Post by PackardV8 »

FWIW, I found a box of NOS Robertshaw thermostats on a back shelf. These are the genuine no-longer-available-USA-good-stuff. A search turns up the same number at Summit for:

CHEVELLE, MALIBU, CAPRICE, IMPALA, K10, C10, C20, C30, EL CAMINO, K20, CAMARO, C20 SUBURBAN V8, L6, V6,

5.7L/350 (327)
5.0L/305 (219)
4.1L/250 (157)
7.4L/454 (143)
6.6L/400 (93)
4.8L/292 (82)
4.3L/262 (69)
5.0L/307 (46)
4.6L/283 (36)
3.8L/231 (35)
3.8L/230 (34)
6.6L/402 (28)
1994 (64)
1993 (80)
1992 (85)
1991 (91)
1990 (109)
1989 (111)
1988 (122)
1987 (112)
1986 (115)
1985 (115)
1984 (105)
1983 (112)

Can anyone confirm this 359-180 fits most all Chevys? If so, have I got a deal for you.

I can't confirm the part number but if it's 2 1/8" OD then it should be the one that fits a lot of engines. How many is in a "box"?

These are 1.71" OD and 2.5" tall, so probably not SBC.

Anyway, there are seventeen of these whatevers.

Hi Jack, do they come with a seal that goes on the thermostat. Can you post a pic?
Thanks
