Chevy 400 Forged rotating assembly

Post by bigbob »

Used 400 chevy rotating assembly. Eagle forged crank, eagle H beam rods, and 2 set of JandE pistons. One set of pistons is new and they are standard bore INVerted dome .070 with C.D.1.220. forging number 618D. This other set is used with standard bore Flat top 400 4.125 bore, stroke is 3.875 and rod is 5.850 and a compression height of 1.210. Piston forging number is 4114F. The Eagle H beam rods are 5.850 long. The Eagle forged crank is 3.875 which i believe is 421 C.I. with the standard 4.125 bore. The parts are in exellent condition and the crank is standard. Thanks Bob From Big Bob Price 800. Big Bob

Saw the ad for the rotating assembly. Do you still have this? Very interested.

ccjohn, give him a call. The problem I found was the unusual stroke and rod length combination. This is for a stand bore 400. This makes a 411ci motor. The crank is a 3.85 stroke with 5.85" rods. Very unusual and hard to find parts. They don't even make pistons for a .060" over bore 400 so that's why I passed on this. But $800 is a great price if you have a standard bore 400 to throw this in.
