If this 427 is a side oiler it has a oil gallery running along side the block just above the oil pan rail and at the end of block, the front by the timing cover it would have allen plug of some other type of oil plug about 1/4 of an inch. If it has this its a side oiler or then its a center oiler. I was in the marine business for 40 plus years and i know this is a cris-craft 427. i pulled out and had about 25 0f them. all the shelby guys bought them from me. good luck and if you need to know more call me. 386-314-4862 bigbob thanks
