WANTED BBF 460 BLOCK looking for something i can punch out to about a 600 or Better looking to build a 1000 + HP motor any suggestions would be appreciated as this is my first engine build thanks

Ford A-460 block is the way to go.

Very few, if any stock production 429-460 will go to 600 cuin, so the Ford racing block or eliminator block, http://www.eliminatorproducts.com/category/14.aspx , is the way to go. If you want to go alum. check out Kasse or C & C.

ill check into that thanks for the input DrillDawg,i have a 77 ford mustang ll race car chassis up for sale on this site and it had a 600 ci motor in it with over 1000 hp the guy sold the motor and trans i got the chassis in a trade + he gave me some cash ... really don't need the chassis , i have a 51 ford p/u with a blown Chevy 355 in it.... i want to put the bbf back in it... that's what im trying to do build the motor for the pick up.thanks again

Get in touch with Charlie and Lem Evans in KY as well as Jetboat bob in KY. Evans performance sells the A460 blocks, all 460 parts and can even build you a motor.
