An American fellow visited Brazil and...

Post by BrazilianZ28Camaro »

I found interesting what this American writer wrote about this event in a Small town, near São Paulo, Brazil.

Its 800 miles away from were I live, but ovehere we also have races more in order with the current NHRA standard.

I enjoy reading about car guys in far away places.

And about locally built American style cars in far away places.

Thanks
Randy

I'm curious if they have a following there.

I love automotive history and the Emi Sul sure is a story.

From what I gather, ARDUN heads on a flathead Ford in a Brazilian Chrysler!!

Thanks

Sinca is a interesting Story for sure!

Its a French brand, later Chrysler of Brazil bought it.

These models were sold from 1962 to 1967 if memory serves me right.

The engine is all built by Sinca, its a V8 with hemi heads but only 170 CI and 140 HP. My dad had one when he was young. Very confortable car, he said.

Interestingly the Brazilian Chargers, Darts, Le Barons, Magnuns got he same wheel bolt pattern from Sinca wich is unique and different fron the Usa pattern.

Do a search about Chevrolet Opala. You might enjoy also.
