leaking m&H frontrunners

Post by OILEAKY » Thu May 11, 2017 5:40 pm

Does anyone know what to cote the inside of M&H tubeless frontrunners with, to keep them from leaking air through the sidewalls ?

These are 3.5 /22 x 15 R134 tires

I've heard of using coppercoat gasket spray, but also heard it could damage the tires.

What's wrong with using bicycle tire, "goo", in the small pressure can? Say, a can per wheel sort a deal??

Both my, "Specialized Hard Rock", tires have it in their tubes.

OR, by chance will the, "goo", make the tires out of balance at speed?

I've herd of dish soap for slicks but never tried it.
I know as much as I can learn and try to keep an open mind to anything!

If I didn't overthink stuff I wouldn't be on speedtalk!

First off...If they are 10 years old get rid of them. Not worth a blow out. Second if they have been stored on concrete they have the life sucked out of them....

I just had to buy new Moroso front runners and it sucks because the old ones are like new but the sidewall cracks. Not going to chance it at 150mph.....

If newer Palmolive is what people use.
