T400 Moving in neutral

Post by oldhead » Sun Feb 12, 2017 11:56 pm

I just put my ATI T 400 in after renewing the clutches.....I always use park to check the locked timing running it up to 5000 or so. But park must need a adjustment back at rear of the case. Some times it slips and clicks. It felt locked so i ran it up to 5000 and it jumped and moved so I tried neutral and it creapped at 3000m up....I think the creap is normai ????Oldhead

Check your shift cable adjustment.

What shifter are you using? I had a similar problem years ago. Now I always put mine in true neutral... then adjust the cable. No problems after doing it that way.
