Watching NHRA race in Va.

Ought to change Pro Stock to "Chevy Pro" as that's what it is now!

The track is just 15 minutes down the road from me as I tune in now and then on TV. Refuse to actually pay 54 bucks for a GA ticket to watch this so called drag racing! Let it die!

This is the first time in a while that NHRA has come to Dinwiddie! Last NHRA event I went to was there WAY back when, probably 20 years ago?? Went to a Friday evening/night qualifying to see the nitro cars "blaze" down the track.

My Darling Wife and I were married there back in October of 1996 at the Super Chevy show. Went to the the quarter finals the next day and made enough money to pay for the trip!! =D>

Ah yes, those were the "good old days"!!

The absolute BEST race I attended there was the 1995 Super/Stock Reunion event. All the greats I read about in the magazines in the 60's- 1972 were there. The Pro Stocks,Super Stockers, Gassers, front engine Top Fuelers man that was a scene to remember!!
