I was trying to post an image of Audi's new 4.0Liter diesel electric turbocharger that spins to 70,000 rpms in less than a half a second to eliminate turbo lag in lower rpm s on engines.

I think this may be the future of even straight turbocharging as inter-cooling does not seem to be a problem.

In any event sorry for the link screw up. If I or someone here can find and post a link here it would be helpful and put my damaged post back in conversation.

Aside: Back in the 1950s, my Father used an electric supercharger on his Rambler and took it out to Willow Run to determine its top speed on the old airstrip. He reported that at 140 mph the fabric roof ripped off. I have always wondered if his car was the subject of the "Beep. beep" song. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eDSk4zwjg5A
