Different specs, same results. That's business in a sole propitiator shop now days. Owner hires friends and expects experienced employees to drop 20 years of knowledge into someone's head in 20 minutes.

The production mgt did spend a lot of time watching and learning how the CNC machine operated
When the CNC operator quit the PM could load and unload a block and some initial setup.
However from there he spent a lot of time on the phone being walked through the probing and
Matching process.
However he has now crashed the machine and will cost $7k to fix it.

Oh well couldent happen to a nicer guy.

When AP Green was 1st getting into refractory gunning plastics, Charlie and I were invited to a BIG meeting and when a VP said something stupid, Charlie said bull-shit and that was the last meeting we were invited to!

We watched them lose over a $1,000,000 and the possibility of a lawsuit before they did it our way! Took about two years, but it works now!

Just a up date.
Production manager resigned two weeks ago. Production is slowly getting back to where it was befor he took the job.
The owner is now very actively involved and that keeps those employees that like to sluf off motivated.
