Re: TV service question
You need that TV to capture all those dangerous wifi signals so you don't get bombarded by them.
The coax doesn't collect any of them.
(at least at your house)

Turn the TV upside down and all the bad juju falls out.

So, do you believe there is no 'wifi' signals in your house if your tv doesn't use it?The last three TVs I bought were flat screen LED types that are NOT SMART TVs, therefore they are NOT WIFI capable and use only coax or HDMI for the signal input connection

Re: TV service question
I suppose there might come a day when the tv conspires with the microwave.
Oh wait. That's SkyNet.
It looks like most routers put out about 0.1 watt while microwaves can do 1000 watts.
It's going to take a focused beam output to do anything of consequence and wifi as we know it is omnidirectional.
Omnidirectional means you can't leave your home without encountering wifi waves.
That's why Mothers teach not to put your head in the microwave.
My source? The internet just like anyone else.
I had my feet flouroscoped (x rays) numerous times as a kid at the shoe store.
Just went through a major health check. No issues in my feet or elsewhere.

Re: TV service question
I won't comment on the dangers of wi-fi. I used to know a bunch about it, but I've lost brain cells since then.
Regarding TV. TV providers are probably limited, or defined by your location. I used to have TV from Spectrum (formerly Time Warner in my area). My TV's were each connected to a box with wires. The boxes received their signals through a coax.
I now have a digital antenna, and smart TV's using a combination of over the air programming, and streaming TV.

I used to be a people person, but people ruined it.
