What version of Windowz are you running?

Windowz is "suppose" to check and reset the time if needed each time you boot up. Have you rebooted the thing since this problem showed up?

Left click on the time and date in the lower right corner of the task bar. In the screen that pops up you will see "Change Date and Time settings" and if you click on that it will let you see what the time zone is set for so you can verify that is correct. Should be Central Time and if it's not, then change it.

In that window it also allows you to change the time manually so if the time zone and time is correct and the PM isn't, then just change the PM to AM and click OK.

Mine did the same thing a couple of weeks ago.

I had to correct it twice.

Was guessing I'd picked up a virus.

You "might" have a CMOS battery going bad on the motherboard. How old is this system and what make/brand is it?
