It is sad to see this yearly competition end. :(
However, I am not sad to see that Hot Rod Magazine will not coordinate it anymore and continue to hurt it.

Oh, this ambivalence. ](*,)
So Walter, who is taking over the coordination etc. ?

As of now, there is no future EMC contest ... it is in the wind for some entity to come along and bite that bullet.

WOW! I did not know that. This will give legs to the new contest that people are trying to get started.

Good riddance. Too many idiot rules and an event that was soooo miss named. Only one engine design type allowed. No innovation allowed, well many a few small examples.
Everyone is certainly entitled to have their own opinion.

There definitely were many, MANY people who looked forward to that competition every year;
A lot more than were ever going to be in it.

Misnamed ... probably because, simply the name did not define the extent of that contest.

Man. I learned so much from all you guys. I did the best I could do building in my man cave. Gotta credit all involved. My entries were built by all that competed in our family. My entries were not my entries. They were OUR entries. So glad to have shot the shit with you guys. Gonna miss it

I did that a couple key groups wanted out.

I am certain that discussions are being had outside of the internet...

There was talk at the competition this year from sponsors and a lot people searching for someone or some entity to take over the coordination and keep it going. [-o<

I certainly can't imagine that concern has all gone by the wayside in just a few short weeks. :-k

So now that the Engine Masters quarterly magazine is no longer, where and when will we get the details of all the builds?

We might get lucky and see some coverage in HotRod mag--but if years past is any indication, it wont be much or informative. I enjoyed the FB live videos very much and got all I need from them. J.Rob

Hot Rod Magazine was there covering their promoted competition; taking photos and interviewing contestants for future articles.
I imagine those will be articles written to be in some future issue(s) of their own magazine.

Facebook videos of the dyno runs are really nice but, they tell nothing about what actual parts are inside any of those engines.
Some Hot Rod and Facebook still photos of the tear-downs will tell something of what is inside only a few.
