Help...

Post by pdq67 »

How do I recover a draft that I had in my e-mail list of stuff?

Where does the deleted stuff that was in my email stuff go to in my computer? Or is it gone forever?

It's my Hillary "C" list file and has more crap in it than I care to think about putting back in.

Which email server? Outlook, Gmail, Hotmail? They're all a bit different.

I would not be surprised if Yahoo, big time Hillary supporters, had something to do with it.

Well, is there any way to get it back?

Or is an email delete a permanent removal"?

If not, where does stuff like this go on my machine?

Why do you say this, Ken?

I use the draft letter as a misc. info storage document like I used to use my great big long, (98 pages), "Useful Tips" document when I was at the state.

I have all sorts of neat stuff in it that I can refer to later if I want to is why I would like to retrieve it. And I only have a hard copy of my "Useful Tips" document now.

If you type in a couple of keywords into the search mail box it might find it. Maybe it went to a folder by mistake.

I have a Yahoo account that I occasionally use. Unfortunately it automatically empties the trash folder every day or so. It doesn't save anything to your computer.

I would suggest contacting yahoo and see if they know?
I don't know how yahoo mail works, but probably not a storage space?
They probably regularly delete old emails at a predetermined age. (and probably size)

Probably up to you to save any important info to your computer.
Most servers I know of allow you to keep the email on your computer when received.
(and usually recommended because of the above age thing)

If it was in the 'draft' section, it probably isn't considered email?
