Chances are your cat has a bad core. You might get lucky and it's a lazy O2 sensor. Easy test is to swap pre and post cat O2 sensors from side to side and if it follows, walah. :)

If you don't have any exhaust leaks, it needs a bank 2 cat.

Swapped sensors, same code. So where's a place to get a cheap replacement? Edit: I swapped the sensors behind both manifold cats, same code

How many miles? I think the dealer has to cover it up to 10 years or 100,000 miles. When I need a cat I have used http://www.gorlicksdistribution.com/Locations.htm as they are local for me but also have locations up and down the west coast so hopefully there is one near you. They are strictly wholesale so you have to be a shop to buy from them. Hopefully not a dealer only item.

So far I ran lacquer thinner in the gas, tried a spark plug non fouler and nothing. I'm in Cal. Would a 49 state pre-cat work?

FWIW.... I've ran seafoam fuel treatment over a couple fill-ups ( one can per tank full of gas ) and got a few customers cars through emissions.......I'm not sure if I fixed anything but their codes are gone to this day......Dan.

Start replacing all the oxygen sensors, then replace the ignition wires, then consider replacing the coils. Just got to get it running better. A can of injector cleaner might help too. The cause of a bad code can come from just about anywhere. Start replacing all the cheap stuff and go from there.
