Nothin much wrong with that port if you can keep the fuel up to it, pretty sure this is the correct hi flow fuel pump for that particular engine
Just watch out for detonation,here's an in-cylinder pic of severe pinging-

Dry humor doesn't always work on the net .....That "apparently huge" port reminds me of my first 4 stroke porting job, I just kept on grinding the ports out until they were nearly twice their original size because a bigger pipe can flow more air...right? The unfortunate end result of this port job was to narrow the powerband down to a 500 rev window, 9500 to 10,000 revs, lost bucketfulls of power right through the range, and to add insult to injury the engine only lasted an hour or 2 before dropping a valve, taking out the enginelada ok wrote: don't be such an ass
