I first met Harold in the early 1970's at General Kinetics Cams when we collaborated on a Honda 4 SOHC motorcycle camshaft.
He did a lot of good things for the camshaft industry since then and I , for 1, appreciate all of his input ... "UDHarold" will be missed.

I never met Harold but I sure did learn a lot reading his posts.
He accomplished a lot in his lifetime. May he rest in peace.

Harold taught me a great deal, about more than camshafts and valvetrain. He will be missed.

Very sad to learn of Harold's passing. He was truly a master cam designer and grinder and a heck of a nice guy. Always willing to take time to help others or to explain something regarding camshaft design.

I spoke with Harold several times over the years and had him grind me a custom flat tappet solid lifter cam for an engine I was working on back when he had UltraDyne up and running. Went another route with that build and still have the cam here.

G-dspeed, Mr. Brookshire. You are missed by many......
