Okay guys good news today.
We got the results from Dads last MRI scan.
Tumors are shrinking, and there is no sign of any new growth.
We are having a good day in the Donkey Barn!

Hey guys.

It has been way to long between updates. Sorry for that.
Donny is still doing good, he has had two more scans done all with the same results.
Still no new growth.
The doctor is still happy and as long as she is happy then so are we.

He has done some physical therapy and has been getting out when he can.
Its been cold and that don't really agree with him so he has stayed in for the most part.
He is pretty bored but that should change now that it is warming up.
He still is not able to be on his feet long enough to do any work, I just told him to take it easy and let me do the work.
He deserves the rest.

Anyway I will try to keep everybody updated a little more often.

Thanks for the update, Andy. Glad to hear Donny is on the mend and doing better. Our family will continue to keep him in our thoughts and in our prayers.

Ok guys new update.
We went to the doctor on Friday.
We have had a slight setback in dads condition.
There is some swelling around the small tumors and possibly some small regrowth.
The doctor is planning a more agressive treatment.
He will start the new treatment sometime in the next few weeks.
There will be a new MRI done in a month to see how that treatment affects the tumors.
That is the bad news
The good news is that he is still feeling pretty good and this new treatment wile considered to be more agressive it is also
supposed to be easier for him to get used to and is more consistent.
He also is going to be doing more physical therapy to gain some strength back.

Ok guys finally time for another update.
I am sorry that it has been way longer than it should have been.
Things are going good for now.

There was a pretty good scare a month ago, Dad started getting real lethargic and could barely get out of bed.
Got him to the Doc and she upped his steroid to a really high dose to get some swelling under control and within two days he was getting up and able to move again.

They have since started to taper the dosage down and have finally got him squared away on a low maintenance dose of steroids to keep swelling down.

He has been getting out and going places and he has been up and drinking coffee before I get to the house every morning.

Something kinda funny he did the other day, Our dyno exhaust is pointed in the general direction of their house and only 200 yards away, he was setting on the front porch listening and called me to tell me the engine I was dynoing sounded like it was running a little too rich.

He was right about it too!

Anyway things are going good for now.
