"so your SS payment is being reduced"

Another trick Obama is using is the inflation index. According to the Obama administration there is no inflation going on so the Social Security checks remain the same as the previous year. Yep, food, gas prices etcetera have remained the same for the last few years according to Obama. [-X How people still support this guy is beyond me.

To be fair, the value of each social security check has been going down a lot longer then Obama's been in office.
No noe has the balls to admit SS is broke, so they just play games and reduce the value of the payments.

People are just stupid.
If washington said they have to cut SS, Unemployment, Walfare, etc. by 20%, there would be riots, but if the washington just prints more money, and devalues all those payments by 20%, no one says a word.

You should have to pass a test covering basic issues and where the candidates stand on them, in ENGLISH, before you are allowed to vote. Watch some things change then.

I'd be fine just limiting it to anyone who pays federal income taxes.

When FDR created social security in 1937 the average life span was 60. Well they put the minumum age at 62 before you could get any of it. There real plan was people to pay into it with only a very small percentage of people living very long past 62 to collect on it. Then in later yrs a democrat controlled congress and dem president used the excuse well there is plenty of money in social security and passed a bill allowing social security money to be put into the general fund. They have been stealing from it like the common thiefs they are ever since. Now they even have people that are getting money from it that are not even retired people.

So they started a social security system with no freedom to choose whether you wanted to pay into it. Then forced business to pay half of the cost. I was kind of thinking this country is supposed to be a country based on freedom. How is it that a goverment that is supposed to work for us forces us to pay into something we may well not want or a business pay something they never get anything from.

If i were a banker came to you and said i'm going to take money out of your check from the day you start working till 62 of age. I will pay you no interest on the money i'm taking from you and should you die before 62 you don't get shit. My guess if i was in your house you would tell me to go get screwed.

Social security is the biggest ripoff ever devised. Want some more proof absolutly no politician is on it. They have a real good deal for themselfs.

We are now spending more money on welfare/medicaid then our intire military costs. A military is one of those nessary evils that you have to have. But some worthless able bodied deadbeat on welfare is not.

The problem with SS is ones that have never worked a day here in the US get to collect it. And they are comming to this country daily to collect it.
It is not an entitlement its an ivestment, supposedly anyway, that is why you pay into it. A way to fix it is to have the full amout of income tax they collect from our pay checks to go in to just SS. The income tax can be from the big companys like Boeing and others, just charge them 10% on every sale. Simple stuff.

Japan has no social security and there people get by just fine so did this country before 1937. Social security was set up as a help to retirement. Why should any business big or small have to pay for any of it. I'm a small business person i have to pay for all my social security nobody hands half of it to me on a silver platter. We have a country that people somehow feal they are entitled to steal money off other people through goverment. For the last 45 yrs and more we have had a goverment that has become nothing but a thief that steals off anyone that works be they rich, upper middle class or middle class then gives to failures and deadbeats. Our worthless goverment thiefs have went around the world promised to defend almost every country you can think up with our blood. Handed free money stolen off our citizens to about every country in the world. Our goverment has the balls to say we should steal some more money off anyone through more taxation bullshit.
Why is it that every business in the country and the vast majority by huge amounts are small business. Why is it they were made a tax collection agency for the goverment commonly refered to as a payroll tax. How is it that a business has to hire someone spend the expense of that persons wages just to steal money for the goverment.
Business in this country big and small now have big time competition from countries like china that have almost no costs in labor compared to what they have to pay. Then they face the highest corporate taxes in the intire world. Its a miracle any of them have been able to stay in business. Business are not leaving this country because of strictly greed its a matter of survival from countries that have far cheaper labor costs pumping products in here. Then they also face a hostil goverment trying to spend like drunken sailors then coming to steal more money off them or any other productive citizen they can steal the money off of. In china they used to go to business and try to tell them what you are doing wrong. Well they finally got smart and come to business people and ask how can we help you.
