I got my ticket for his Sept. seminar the other day but I haven't yet made travel arrangements. It's my assumption that I have to rent a car in Minneapolis and drive over. If that's the case and anyone wants to make a car pool deal out of it, let me know. Maybe our arriving flight times will allow something like that to happen and be able to help us save a buck or two.

I was asking David a few weeks ago if he might concider giving a seminar in iowa.
He said it was a possibility but he didn't lecture for groups smaller than 50 people.
Would anyone be interested in attending if this if I were to host David in Iowa ?

I'd go if it's in Des Moines or anywhere West of there. But MN isn't too bad of a drive either.

I would not just say anyone could wait untill david has another seminar or especially one in their city, thats crazy. Life doesn't work like that and at 69 years old even. Also Doug Herbert of Herbert cams will be present as well as several more respected people.
I live in Mpls and i'm going to the seminar. If I can assist somebody in some way please save my cell number (612-226-7871 Matt) even just for dirrections, airport pickup, or whatever. Mirons shop is also a little tricky to find. Its a two day seminar so I would think a rental car for several days needs is nessesary but maybe not. give me a call.
I have been known to be out late friday and saturday nights with the street racing sceen but other then that my schedual is open.

He is one of only a few who are willing to share their knowledge.
That means they are the tall poppies that others will try and cut down.

I doubt any of the nay sayers can be bothered putting as much into informing and teaching others as David has.

I'm probably going to take you up on that, Matt. I appreciate it! I should hit the airport at 1:30 Friday afternoon and I already rented a car and room in Chaska but I don't know where the hell I'm going

I will also be attending, although I don't get in until 8:45pm on Friday. I'm staying at a hotel near the airport, given that I have a 6:30 am flight home on Monday.

Yes, this is the one we've been discussing in this thread. It sounds like 4 of us from speed talk are going. It is this weekend in Chaska, Mn. which is near Minneapolis. As always, it should be very interesting and informative.
