Manufactures Statement of Origin. How many know what it is?

it is a statment from the manufacture as to the manufacting of a car or trailer or atv or motorcycle it has all the information on it as to vin numbers and weight and kind of veh that it is it also let the manfacture sell its product across state lines and be titled in outher states and is required by the feds and the icc (interstate commerance commission)

For you and I...... So we will know where a vehicle or other product originated.

For government entities...... Same as the above, except that their interest has more to do with taxes and tariffs.

Basically the MSO is the original title issued by the manufacturer. They print them up with the original purchasers name (dealer) on the front.

The dealer signs the back of it with the name of whom he sells it to (second owner).

It's than taken with the rest of the paperwork to motor vehicle office where they issue a title in the second owners name.

At least that's how it works in this state.

Right on it is the main document that shows ultimate ownership.

So who ever has it in possesion is the ultimate owner. Have you ever wondered why it is so easy for a state or other such entity to take possesion of a persons car or other such registered and titled vehicles?
And for that matter anything else that said entity forced you to "REGISTER", yeah all in the name of making things better for us, right?
