Here are some more songs pertaining to vehicles...Speed, Chrome, One piece at a time.

I remember listening to the song Laquer head from Primus.

Does any other band compare to Primus in the "weird" aspect of music??

So who are, lets say, ....the top five guitarists of all time in everyones opinion 8)

I'd have to think about this one, let it rip guys.
Doesn't this list HAVE to start with Les Paul???
It certainly can.

Davy Knowles is one of the best young guitar players and singers I've heard in a long time. 20 years old and this guy kicks ass.

Thats no problem Keith, this thread doesn't have to have just car tunes. Anything music pretty much! Guitars, bass, drums, piano if anyone does that etc. Just a topic where people chat up what they enjoy or have an interest in the musical world.

I have never have heard of the guy Keith. Where is he from?

What would you guys think if all of us tried to write up a song about a car?? I am sure there are some inventive minds in regards to music here.

Have any of you written a song that has seen the light of day maybe at a local place around your area?? 8)

Back in my punk/garage band days, I wrote a few. They could be dusted off and redone. One of my daughters is an accomplished singer/songwriter/performer, but she doesn't write car songs.

You can come up with anything to a 12 bar blues. This is the free form lyric format way before rap. The cord structure is constant and the lyrics are "call and answer".

The other popular and easy way to write a song is to just use an existing melody and change the lyrics.
