Unfortunately I just read this thread and although I never met Ed, I like so many others on here feel like I knew him. At the least I was one of the countless who reaped the benefits of his lifelong experiences. He was always willing to help. We have lost a great gentleman and friend to our trade.
He will truly be missed by many.
R.I.P. our friend. And may God Bless his family.

I just caught this too.
I had an opportunity to talk for over an hour with Ed during a long car ride some months ago. He was very devoted to his faith and for sure had no deliberate intents to ever harm a living soul.
I have to say Ed was very unique and maybe eccentric type of guy but equally impressive in how firm his convictions were on faith/spirituality and his vision of what good meant when it comes to dealing back & forth with people.
He was a very nice guy and hearing this deeply saddens me.

I'm sorry to hear Ed past. I've been wondering why he wasn't writing any longer. I guess we all have to go sometime though. My thoughts and prayers to Ed and his family.
