Looking for input on parachutes and equipment for mount etc.
130+ mph car in the 1/8th needing parachute information which one is better than others and why which one to buy? air launcher or manual style?spring assist? many choices just wondering what some of you are using with success or wish you had bought that instead? Thanks

When I bought mine a few months ago, the Deist people were very helpful. Asked all the right questions about weight, trap speed, etc., and sold me the one they recommended. Comes packed with an aluminum tray that is bolted to bracket of choice and enough lanyard to easily reach the ring welded to the differential. As far as launcher, depends on how often you have to use it I was told. Spring is cheaper but if used a lot the drogue chute will wear out and gets expensive to replace. A racing acquaintance with a serious altered switched to air for that reason.
