Chev K1500 brake upgrade

Postby dfarr67 » Mon Aug 07, 2017 11:28 am

Hi guys, I have all the parts to go from a 1989 K1500 to 2003 Suburban brake upgrade- mine currently is a mongrel of 2500 front calipers and rear disc with S10 calipers and a driveline ebrake. Works OK but the parts don't always conform perfectly (pads don't quite match rotor od, ebrake only works OK). What's holding up the show for me is a conversion fitting on the front flex line to hardline- you will need a brass fitting to adapt your 3/16 steel lines to the hoses that are designed for 1/4 steel lines

I would rather have these adapters in hand- looking for a link or part number from a knowledgable member- I don't know if there was a split in spec fron 88-98.

Thanks, Dave
