So according to Rossler if my trans is pointing downward 2.7 and my pinion is pointing down .5* I should be "ok" If I shim the trans mount up until I have a 2* downward pointing trans? The diagram is slightly confusing to me.

I’ll take a crack at it. I think they’re saying that at launch the diff pinion angle changes under load. The differing angles recommended provides” lead” for this. Under power you want both angles about the same -most critically at launch. If the angles differ rear wheel speed pulsates as the drive shaft speeds up and slows.

According to the diagram, if your tranny is pointing down 2.7º your pinion should be pointing UP 2.7ºif my trans is pointing downward 2.7 and my pinion is pointing down .5* I should be "ok" If I shim the trans mount up until I have a 2* downward pointing trans?
Or probably best to raise your tranny to 2º down then your pinion to 2º up.
