Looking for information on BBSS (Big Bar Soft Spring) setup for an IMCA Style Modified.
I understand 400# to 450# springs and an 1 1/4" bar is popular.
Just wonder what shocks would be best and what numbers for rebound and compression?
1/4 to 1/2 mile tracks and all asphalt.
Hoosier 970* tires.
I was thinking that Penskes are probably best, just not sure on the numbers?
I was thinking 3 on compression and either 8 or 10 on the rebound for the front? Is that close without custom valving?
Don't really have an idea about the rear springs and shocks yet? Any ideas?
Thanks for reading.

Chas @ Howe Racing in Beaverton,Mi would be a good guy to ask… he builds asphalt mods.
