Mid plate

Post by fishman »

I had one of the welds let go on the frame that holds the mid plate
Before I get it welded back on. Is the a process to get it done probably and should it be rewelded by stick mig or tig
Trying to figure how to reinstall being square and in right spot
Another question with the motor out should the tranny sit square with car if not moving the tranny sideway to align with mid plate cause any problems

Thanks

Cant see any good reason to leave the drivetrain out of align with the rest of the car,, although It is not as necessary as many think it is.

Stick weld it if you must, Mig weld it if you can, Tig it if you care enough for it.
