118 V/P fuel turned a muddy pinkish purple

Post by 598 BIG RAT »

i have never seen fuel turn colors. the fuel tank is a brand new jazz 8 gallon poly tank and i flushed it several times.
I can put fuel in it and overnight it turned colors and the longer it is in the tank the worse off it gets.
The bottom of the tank turns first and works its way up.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Good afternoon folks
I guess if i would break this nitemare down someone might have run in to this problem before.
The fuel tank is a 12" jazz drag race poly cell (120-012-01). We used the blue fuel line we purchased from smileys ( Roundy Roung parts house) on the south end of okc. (405)
The 118 oc V/P Race fuel was purchased at Red Rock Fuels east side of town.
I got a suspision ot may be the line??????????????????????????????????????? :x
Thanks

Sorry, but I think your best bet is to call VP and see if they have any suggestions on incompatible materials.
