Gas porting W/turbo?

Hello all, I'm new here but been lurking for a while, Great info here for us hobby engine builders. I have a question about gas porting pistons, Why is the technique not used on turbocharged engines? or have I just missed seeing it. I can't think of any reason why it would not be beneficial. Warren
