If you have ever bought smething because of Speedtalk, let me know
Have you purchased something, directly from someone on SpeedTalk?
Were made aware of a company, product or service, because of Speedtalk? If so, purchased that product or service ?

Yes. I actually found a machine shop in my area that I could trust to bore/hone my block (and other work) through this forum. It worked out great! I would not have found this shop, had it not been for Speedtalk.
I don't think he is active here much anymore.

cannot say I have purchased directly from the site but I have bought recommended products.
I would gladly pay to be a member.
This is the most informative and interesting forum I have found.
I dont contribute much frankly because I am WAY below the the paygrade of most members here. But I learn alot just lurking.

I've purchased some software and probably 15 CD's over the years. I'm going to try and buy the HP Chain book as soon as I find the link that I think GaryC posted for me.

Cams from Mike and Bret Bauer.
Simulation from Vannin.
Pipemax from Mr. Meaux
Controlled induction from Mikes brother
I am clearly a victim of indirect marketing

Re: If you have ever bought smething because of Speedtalk, let me know
I purchased some stuff under a different account when Don first opened up the site. It was well worth the money. There were a few DOS floppies and some worksheets. A few years ago I purchased a membership pack that had some software and interviews, I think this was also under a different name. I guess I need to keep track of my accounts better. Now I just use my name so I don't have to remember what the login name is. I bought the book from Beverly a few weeks ago.

yes, a cam from you, a bunch of parts from Mike.

I have purchased most everything that Don offered. Usually at the annual sales push when the price was best.
