I hope someone does buy it and keep it running. This is a great site and would be a pity to lose it.

I hope someone will step up and take it for a future.

I just hope if and when that happens we don't get bombarded by those dam adds and poop-ups (pop -ups)!

I that happens I am done here.

If someone steps up to the helm, I'd be more than happy to kick in for helping 'fuel' the S/T ship's operating costs, just as many of us have offered re Mrs. Tirrell.

Ditto X100 plus I'd love to order a Horsepower Chain book as I assume that would help and I'd love to read it. If there is a way o order it let me know and I'm in right now.

If someone buys speedtalk it will be solely for an ad revenue platform to gain the audience that is already here. I have an idea of how that could be done without changing it's current platform but I don't have the background or contacts to make that happen.

Using an ad platform on a site can be done without using pasted in between posts and poop-up adds bugging the hell out of forum users. I just know sites like Yellowbullet, Racing Junk and others use way to many agitating adds like these types while users go into the forums and sub categories to read and post. Way to damn bothersome!and Annoying!

I often wondered how much a forum could even make. It almost seems like a hobby unless you pop-up the hell out of it.

I wonder what the monthly operating cost is and what it's being sold for.

The problem is that someone buys the forum thinking they'll makes some money.

No money is made, then forum disappears.
