Need help to ID Scorpion Roller Rockers

Post by BrazilianZ28Camaro »

Hello Fellas

Buddy just sent me parts for his new 350 Chevy, I'm identifyin the parts he got, but I can't find what Scorpion rockers I have here by the PN because it isn't in there web catalog.

Looks to be a discontinued BBC 1.7 rocker, but they are brand new.

I'm wondering if somebody might have an Old Scorpion catalog to ID these #10003530 1.7 ratio RR and can help me on this.

Thanks in advance.

I could not find such a part number either, Diego. So I e-mailed Scorpion and asked for particulars. Will let you know what they say.

Diego, no response from Scorpion thus far. Still looking. Will let you know as soon as I have information. Current 3500 series rockers seem to be mainly for endurance racing, but no reference as yet to exact part number you posted..

Best regards,

Harry

Diego, I managed to reach Scorpion's tech person by phone just now. The rockers you have are 1.7 ratio for small block Chevy. They did not know whether they are for the #1026 (7/16") or the #1025 (3/8") rocker stud, but you will be able to measure them and tell.

Hope this helps,

Harry

Thank you very much again Harry, this certainly helps.

I bet you're a lot better spelling at the phone than me!

P.S. >>> I don't have a cell phone, so do not text. Yes, I still have my rotary dial phone here at home (land line).

Gentleman, it always puzzles me that people go to a forum to look for answers about a manufacturer's product. Here's a quick thought...Contact the manufacturer! I am the General Manager of Scorpion Racing Products. Occasionally I look through forums to see if there are any issues with our products that I need to be aware of. It amazes me how much wrong information gets pushed through these forums. If you want answers regarding any of Scorpion's products, I encourage you to contact us directly so that you are not fed false information. If you come to a general forum and ask or share your concern's that there may be a manufacturing issue, you are talking to the wrong people. Scorpion is very proud of our products and every single one is manufactured right here in Ocala, FL. All components of our rocker arms are made 100% in the USA. That includes the extruded aluminum, clips, trunnions, bearings, seats, ...every piece. No Chinese junk will ever enter Scorpion's facility! We want to hear from you. If you think there is a manufacturing issue, let us know. Because a forum is sure not going to correct it. Email me personally if you like. We also have a top notch tech support department with over 100 years combined experience. You can go to our website, our Facebook site or simply email us directly. I have provided appropriate links below.
