What do the ootb ports flow?

You’ll notice the floor doesn’t appear to be slanted sideways.

Compared to the stock ex port next to it, it “looks” like he has removed a fair amount of bias from the guide area.
I have not flowed on my bench yet, should have some time in next couple of days

reshaped SSR on cylinder #1 port flow went down 3-4 cfm at higher lift but doesn't mean much i suspect.
flowed as cast center port cylinder #5,then done some work on opposing port cylinder #3.
the as cast port had turbulence up to 0.400'' and port was noisy right through the lift range, air speeds were high on the roof 350-360 ft sec @ 28''.
sort of copied shape from my 215 darts without raising the roof in a D.
there was slight turbulence at 0.200'' - 0.300'' lift but port got quiet after that, and actually sound went quieter as lift was increased to 0.700''.air speed slowed down a lot as well
330-320 ft sec on the roof and 300 ft sec in center of port above the SSR .
over all following what KNIGHT ENGINES done on my 215 darts on the center ports i am happy with my results, remember i am looking at shape compared to cfm,
i have not flowed the 215 as of yet.
comments and advice appreciated.

You can't go wrong following Tony. Take 9 air speeds and show the cylinder wall so we know which way the port faces. At this point cc that port to see how big it is. Looks good! Thanks, Charlie

How do both ports sound with a tube on them and how do the flow numbers change?

Are you gaining the normally seen 3 to 5% at lifts above .400" with a tube in place?

As your porting You should make one change at a time and then flow the port to see trends starting to take place be they bad or good.
I would like to see you build back up with clay the way the valve guide was stock on its Intake valve side and then make a flow test.
You can cut a man's tongue from his mouth, but that does not mean he’s a liar, it just shows that you fear the truth he might speak about you!
