Thanks I'll give him a shot, I'm willing to UPS a set in from the U.S if I cant find them here in Australia

I hope you might be re-nitride treating those journals, they are going to be a bit soft after .060" is gone.

Hopefully the crank never sees the bearing...

Not sure I'd even consider running a crank at .060" under. That's a lot of grinding and meat gone...

Good God, they used to cut 0.200 out of 400 sbc mains to fit 'em to 350 main saddles in the early years of "383" sbc.Coloradoracer wrote: ↑Thu Feb 14, 2019 7:25 am Not sure I'd even consider running a crank at .060" under. That's a lot of grinding and meat gone...

Re: BBC main bearings .060" undersize
Many racers have BBC cranks with the rod journals offset-ground to Honda rod sizes with some success. If the rod journal is ground to increase the stroke, then the crank pin overlap is significantly reduced but these cranks do hold up well in drag race applications.

It's not going to make much more than 400-450 hp im not concerned with the strength at all , surely someone out there must know where I can find a set of these bearings !

apm, this is a reply from someone on another forum who saw your post but couldn’t log on here for some reason. I copied this response to you. Hope it helps!
“I can't get logged back into SpeedTalk. But want to help someone there. Perhaps someone could forward this info?
Please note I don't wish to debate the Australian gent's issue/approach; only to provide him a part number for what seems an odd size that he's seeking.
Speedtalk user "apm" has had his BBC crank's MAINS turned 0.060" undersize but cannot find matching 0.060" undersize MAIN bearings
Seems there's good reason as it seems neither Mahle-Clevite or FM offer BBC MAINS in 0.060" undersize.
However, seems KING does offer 0.060" undersize BBC MAIN Bearings but in Only one version/style... Silicon (Aluminum?)
Anyway, it's KING pn MB 556SI060 … and No, summit doesn't offer that size.
I do see a set on Amazon for right at $75 USD
Perhaps someone here can get into their Speedtalk account and find this thread
https://www.speed-talk.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=55721
and pass on to user "apm" KING pn MB 556SI060”
thanks
