Sc1 2868 intake

Post by Steve.k »

Has anyone or does anyone know if you can cut the 2868 to fit 9.2 deck. Approximately.150 a side. Pads look quite thick. Thanks.

Have you given a thought to use a CID BE 5.0 SCI intake, it has a really thick flange and lots of material to possibly get a good port match. they do one for a 9.25" deck. Just a thought.

Doesn't sound like anyone has modded the 2868. Trying to fit to blue thunder 3.6. Some have done similar intakes by cutting plenum and narrowing. The sc1 and 4.3 blue thunder look to be 4.3 inch high so almost a inch higher which makes for quite abit wider. Scott cook air supremacy maybe the closest. It maybe a good thing son apprenticing for machinist.
