3.0 collector. 5 hp gain is all.
A/f tuned to 12.6 ish.
Gives me a ray of hope my lil' 11.5:1 compression 310" jobber can hit 430/390 with slightly smaller Jones cam. Hope all the porting and high tech speed tricks pay off to end up close to your results per/cid.

No it's not surprising at all. Calven Elston once told me a little 302" motor could even benefit from 1.375" primaries stepped to 1.5" and still support well over 400 horsepower. Look at randy's truck pull motor. The way I see it is if a dual duty street/strip motor "needs" a bigger pipe to show larger gains then they're likely full of crappy bends and or something else wasn't optimised for that particular combo of parts.

I have yet to see a build like that with shelf parts(like AFR heads) make that torque per cube on the dyno I use. Ive seen it on those kind of heads with high compression etc....but not in that street type arena. And some of the other "internet experts" heads tend to do worse than that.
