I have a customer that has Lunati Rods with a bolt marked Lunati 0294.

Does anyone have a torque spec?

7/16 looks like it's stainless?

Anyone?

You can go by stretch, and find the torque it takes to stretch it a reasonable amount based on length and a reasonable guess on material.
The torque for the rod of course is not necessarily the maximum torque for the bolt anyway, it's just how much safety margin they have on the bolt.

I'm probably not telling you anything you don't already know but...... if you look at stretch specs in for all the bolts you'll see....a significant trend, because in the end steel just has the same kind of modulus, and all men are brothers. The torque it takes to get there on the other hand can be all over the place.

Calling Lunati is a last resort. It has proven fruitless in the past.

I thought I'd ask the experts first.

But seriously, the easiest and safest method would be to buy a new set of bolts to suit that come with a spec, tq them, check the big end id and go from there.

Anyone?
AFIK lunati rods have ARP bolts, 8740 or 2000 with lunati stamped into the head.
What is the underhead length of the bolt?

If you look at 0294 upside down, it resembles like 8620

Mark,
First step in my opinion is to call Lunati like the others said. That being said, my old (2006) Lunati catalog says .005-.0054 stretch on the Pro Mod and Pro Billet rods and .0039-.0043 on the Street Race rods. I did not look on the web site to see if this has changed.

I haven't spoken with them since Joey called me to tell me he was leaving, but he had to go back and get the rent check.

But I guess I'll have to.
