Happy hunting!PackardV8 wrote: ↑Wed Oct 10, 2018 2:06 pm Building Packard V8s. We're needing an affordable spring and retainer package. The OEM springs are NLA. I've modified early Cad OHV8 springs and retainers, which are now also NLA. So we need 1.550" OD springs and retainers for .375" stem valves; 100# seat pressure @ 1.75" is fine.
Most of the 1.550" OD springs in the catalogs are part of race-heavy dual spring packages. Any idea which other engines might come with 1.550" OD springs as OEM? Who offers low seat pressure aftermarket single springs and retainer packages?
All ideas and leads appreciated.
Need mild 1.550" OD single springs and retainers.
