performance trends velocity probe

I bought there digital velocity probe in May.. had some issues due to my dated Flow Com but the guys at performance trends addressed the issue. whats interesting is the reading are a lot different than pitot tubes by 15% to 20 % . the digital is lower. they just introduces sound device that goes on the digital probe. now this is very interesting using head phone and the probe to hear the velocity in the port. pretty neat idea. played with it in the Harley M-8 heads last night give you more to ponder when your designing cylinder head ports. sbc
