Anyone have an old Speed Pro/Sealed Power catalog?

We're trying to identify a piston we pulled out of a Packard V8. It might be an old Sealed Power or Speed Pro, as the number is L 2057.

Any thoughts, suggestions, references appreciated.

Thanks. I've used Egge repop cast Packard pistons for thirty years. (BTW, Steve Markley hasn't been with Egge for several years now.)

In the link provided, Egge uses the same TRW part number, L 2057, but their catalog photo shows a OEM style cast flat side steel strut slipper skirt with which I'm very familiar. The odd piston we found is a full skirt forging.

Probably an old TRW OEM replacement piston. I looked on a old piston clearance chart, but it skips the number.
L = power groove , 2000 series, F suffix = forged, CF suffix = cast.

I have a Jan. 1974 Sealed Power. It only lists 2 pistons.
1957-58 289 - 3 9/16" - 1891P
1948-54 288, 327 - 3 1/2" - 1714P

Thanks for checking. The 289" is for the Studebaker V8-powered '57-58 and the 288"-327" are for the flathead straight eights. So we now know the L2057 predates '74.

Bonus question - did all TRW forgings use an "F" suffix?

It depends on the series of piston, sometimes F = fitted pin

Fred Kanter, who's been a Packard guy forever, says he remembers seeing them in the 1960 TRW catalog, but not afterward. In more than sixty years of being the Packard parts guy, he's never seen a set of the TRW forged pistons. I told him, "Well, I haven't either. I've only now seen a single piston.
