2 * 1050 dominators on sbc 18 degree engine

will 2* 1050 dominator carbs be to big on a 406 cbc 18 degree engine with sheetmetal intake
rpm 8200
stall speed 6700 rpm
810 hp
car 2465 lbs
rear 5.67 gear
powerglide 1.76

Here is a ford with a pair but rpm is much higher

Anything can work, pretty sure you'll need more converter, 7200 or so. My concern is it might be lazy to accelerate if held back with a (relatively) tight converter and 2 speed tans.

Years ago, NHRA Pro-stock truck ran 18-degree SBC's with dual dominators. I believe Dan Davinci was a big player in those during that era. He just completed a set for me on a personal 434 SBC, sheet metal TR drag engine that I should be finishing soon. You may reach out to him. 4.155 x 4.0, Bryant crank, Little M, Titan pump, .903 Jones Roller, Bowtie 363's with Hut 1 CNC flowing 374 @ .800, M&M intake, 14.46:1

Plan to dyno later this fall.
