I've watched a few videos on how to install Spirolox the right way but all I get are bloody fingers....I must be a dumb*ss...

One of the oddities of Spirolox retainer use is that a majority of pundits strongly advocate discarding them after a single use but many also recommend stretching the new ones to ~ a 3/4" tall spiral for easy installation. I think anyone would be hard-pressed to detect any difference. :-k

Don't egg shape and distort the round wire locks. Could be detrimental to your wallet. I prefer spirolox.
