Little mouse....i personally know an engine that employed the Dart 49cc iron heads. It was a Super Late Model build about 12 years back . The heads had been massaged and flowed almost 300 through the intake port with a 2.050" valve. 4.125 bore x 3.335 arm =356.55 C.I. it made 630 H.P. at appx. 7800 RPM, so ??? Mark H.

Ya thats very good would like to stay at least 11.1 comp feel i need an aluminum head to do that. To answer an earlier post the 3984 weiand single 4 tunnel ram does look like it might run the end cylinders leaner. My only experince with a tunnel ram was in the 70s a 331 with two 660s and that was not my car.

What about a set of GM Fastburns...I heard they can be made to run very well. I was going to try a set on a 350 I was going to build some years back that never materialized. I ended up building a dome piston engine for Alky and it was said that combustion chamber design worked best with flat top pistons.
