Todays value on some old Holley carbs
I'm looking for a Person that can give the appraisal value on a few Old Holley Carburetors? I have three that I want to sell but don't know where to start. I can provide numbers and pictures. Send me a P.M.
Thanks for looking and if this thread is in the wrong place, feel free to move.

they are only worth big bucks if they have the proper date code that someone needs to restore a car for points
Re: Todays value on some old Holley carbs
Search the carb numbers on eBay and select completed auctions. That's the market place. And I agree; They have value -and not always significant value- if they belong to a particular engine option. Others, like 3bbl, early 3310 and curiosity collections and such are more modestly priced, but still, eBay for accurate info.

Unless they are rare if they are missing any parts they aren't worth much.

Are they OEM carbs? If so, using eBay, one might hope to find the buyer restoring that year/make/model.
If they're just generic aftermarket, they're getting cheaper at swap meets every year. So don't plan on funding that trip to Hawaii with three old Holleys.

Well if they are copo or yenko or even Boss 429 Holley’s I would start packing for that trip to Hawaii.

I had two 390 cfm Holley, "1850" type carb's off of our Ford F-600 and F-750 Gunning Trucks, (361 and 391 FE engines), but Doc's fucking Bastard Step S-I-L stole them..

Re: Todays value on some old Holley carbs
Around 2000 I started buying readily available inexpensive Holley cores, $10-20 ,and rebuilding them to sell on the fairly new Ebay...Best sellers were common 600 and 450 vacuum secondaries..Sold them easily for 70-80 each..I did do some more rare models but at that time they didn't sell for that much more money...
The Holley 390's off the big truck engines were a bit different than car carbs with the governor and additional cross over tube..And I remember the primary metering block has different sized idle and power valve restrictions making them useful for tuning carbs used off application..

Seeing this thread while cleaning the garage remind me a lot of carbs need to go. There are a dozen Rochester 4Jets, eight WCFBs, six AFBs and a QJet. I'm going to take them and a crate full of old Holleys and parts to the one remaining local carb shop. If they won't give me anything for them, I'll be posting them here in the classifieds.

some old Holley carbs
If your old holley carbs are just aftermarket carbs not OEM original muscle carr carbs then they are worth what ever the market there will pay.
if they are OEM origionals than they may have some more value for restorations.
