Camshaft data

Post by Turbo231 »

Does anyone have some camshaft data (lift vs. degree) they can share with me? I need something comparable to what you would put in Cam Doctor or Cam Analyzer? Not looking for anyone's trick cam data, just need something to feed into an Excel program I have written to calculate valve curtain area. Some old smallblock Chevy data would be great. Thanks.

Roller using 0.750 wheel diameter and 1.020 base circle diameter. Have fun. :)

What are your increments - cam or crank degrees? Valve lift or lobe Lift?

Thanks.

Sorry, when I think of cam profile lift tables, everything is at the lobe. One degree rotation at the lobe with the lift at the tappet that the profile is being designed for.

Thanks.
You can graph that data and stretch it horizontally (change the increment size) or vertically (multiply the lift by a factor) to make whatever duration and lift you want.

Also you to make sure once you have you intake and exhaust lobes you have coded a way to adjust LSA as well as advance or retard the cam

Thanks. This is perfect.
